Stephanie Green’s third grade class at Simmons Elementary School enjoyed the snow throughout their virtual learning day! A science experiment included filling three glasses (one with water, one with snow and one with ice) to observe throughout the day and see which one melted the fastest and which glass had the most water in the end. Another activity was snow sundaes for an afternoon treat! Students had 10 minutes to collect clean snow from outside and decorate them with toppings. Finally, to get their creativity flowing, students learned how to draw and cut six-sided snowflakes, and wrote snow limericks and stories.
