Courtyard to Table

Warrior Run Food Service Director Jonathan Hall is combining his passion for food service and horticulture and finding ways to integrate student learning with the food they consume. Using grant funds from the Ralph & Josephine Smith Fund & Warrior Run Education Foundation, a greenhouse structure will be constructed at the school which will include a lettuce and tomato hydroponic system. Food grown will be used in food production at the school with anything left over going to the community and food banks.
